Install npm install @blipit/browser

The Blipit browser SDK is 7 KB. It catches uncaught errors, unhandled promise rejections and failed requests, keeps the clicks and requests that led to each error, records web vitals, and can record a session replay when an error happens. Install it from npm in a bundled app, or drop one script tag into any page.

Call init once, before the rest of your code runs. Use the public key.

2Without a bundler: one script tag

Paste this into the <head> of every page, or into your platform's custom code slot.

3Tell Blipit who the user is (optional)

After sign-in, attach the user so issues show who was affected and replays can be found by user.

4Check it works

In the browser console on your site, run the line below. Open Issues in app.blipit.io. The first event appears within a few seconds, grouped into an issue, and the people in charge get an email.

Good to know

  • Options: sampleRate (0 to 1), ignoreErrors (strings or patterns), beforeSend to drop or edit an event, maxBreadcrumbs, webVitals (on by default), autoSessionTracking for crash-free rates (needs release).
  • Pinned script versions live at blipit.io/sdk/0.2.0/blipit.js if you want to control upgrades.
  • Content Security Policy: allow https://in.blipit.io in connect-src, and https://blipit.io in script-src if you use the script tag.
  • Already using a Sentry SDK in the browser? It works unchanged: set the DSN to https://<public key>@in.blipit.io/<project id>.
